Pagewide in Volkskrant

On the 25th of June my pone rings: if I could make a superman out of balloons. That is hardly a problem. After talking through the details on how superman should look like we agreed to make two supermans: a large one and a smaller one.

Details like eyes, the S, mouth etc. we're not drawn on the ballons on the clients request. When they came to piuck up the balloons it turned out they were destined for a photoshoot for illustrations for the upcoming Volkskrant Magazine. 

So on Saturday the 6st of July my superman (the small one) was published pagewide in a national newspaper! Unfortunately ony the concept creator was credited for the work, not the creator (me) or the photographer. None the less: very cool to see your work being published in a large national newspaper, used as an illustration for an article. 

Would like to do this again some day!
