Alternatieve field trip in The Hague

After performing at RKBS de Paradijsvogel with Carnival 2013 the parents committee contacted me with the question if I could organize a whole day full of activities for the toddlers of their school. This school has two buildings: one is only used by the toddlers, the other building houses the older kids. The older kids take a yearly field trip and they wanted to give the toddlers something like that too. We came up with a plan for an "alternative field trip" which would actually take place inside the school. 

After laying out some concepts we got a green light to get everything arranged! The result: a day with a circus theme, filled with activities. 

Clown Zassie started this day with a musical warm-up on the school's playground. The ground literally shook with over 200 toddlers dancing and jumping. After the warm up they spit into groups, heading into the various activities that were available that day: jumping on the bouncing castles, getting lemonade from a cow, making art with sand, getting their face painted, watching Clown Zassie's show, taking a ride on a train, playing with circus materials and more! For lunch the school had arranged a truck that made fresh chips and to top things off: an ice-cream man stopped by! 

Easy to say the Toddlers of de Paradijsvogel had an amazing time!
